Fix Blogger W3C Errors Validate Your Blogspot Theme

W3C Stands for World wide web consortium. This international standards organisation was founded in October 1994 and lead by Tim Berners Lee.

W3C error in blogger blog cannot be removed totally, But they can certainly be reduced. You are supersized to hear this, when I am checked my blog it had 128 errors. That time, I am using a premium theme. After some research, I brought these 128 errors to 10 only. However, this problem  is only occur with the old themes only. Many of us are unaware from them.

Correcting DOC Type Declaration


I am asuming that you have checked the errors than here is the solution. Approximately 60% errors due to incorrect declaration of DOC type declaration. Search the below code in your blogger html. You can find it above <head> or press CTRL+F to find it.

Now click Save Theme and again check your blogger w3c errors.Almost 50-60 percent errors will be removed. Check next step for removing other errors.

Removing Quick Edit

When you sing in your blogger blog, you must see a quick editing button this is the cause most of the w3c errors. Remember, If you are using a  new theme than you can skip this part. Because in new blogger themes they cant add this code. Here how you can change it. The errors are varies how many widget you are using.
  • Open your theme code
  • Find These two codes ad remove them

You cant remove all these errors other errors occur due to <alt> and some other. These are genuine, don't worry about them. I am looking for the solution, when I found it i will write it here. 

Using ALT Tags In Images

There are two benefits of using ALT tags in blogger blog images. First it improve your image and overall  SEO ranking. This is also a ranking factor, so use the in every image that your using in your blog. Basically ALT tags describe what is your image about. Second it remove errors on your blog related to ALT tags.
